Kingdom Rush Frontiers Tips: Towers, Heroes & Farming 2025

Early Game: Clean Openings
- Dual-Archer starts into Rangers Hideout is the most forgiving line on maps with split lanes. The passive Poison Arrows carries low-armor swarms.
- Reinforcements + Rally kiting: place reinforcements in front of your first choke to buy 3–4s for cash ticks before your first upgrade.
- Gold efficiency rule: if two adjacent tier-2 towers are an option, prefer one tower to tier-3 first—Frontiers punishes wide, low-level spreads.
Best Towers & Upgrade Paths
Archer → Rangers Hideout
Go T2 Archer → T3 → Rangers. Prioritize Poison Arrows 2/3 early; Wrath of the Forest is S-tier crowd control for split paths.
Artillery → DWAARP
DWAARP outclasses Tesla on most maps because Furnace Blast shoves enemies back into kill zones. Get Core Drill if armored elites stack.
Mage → Necromancer Tower
Against sustained lanes, Necromancer skeletons act as disposable blockers. Skill order: Horde 2/3 → Infection 1/3 → Horde 3/3.
Barracks → Assassins Guild
Assassins (with Smoke Bomb) excel at delaying medium packs. Use at side lanes where artillery splash can connect.
Hero Picks & Skill Orders
- Alric: Balance Sand Warriors 3/3 with Rage 2/3; he is your bruiser for choke anchors.
- Ashbite: Path into Infernal Combustion—synergizes with DWAARP to loop knockbacks.
- Nivus: Max Arcane Nova first for burst clears on split paths.
Map-Specific Tips
- Buccaneer’s Den: Use Pirate Watchtower for map control; add Rangers to pin sea lanes with poison ticks during ship spawns.
- Dunes of Despair: Armor stack → rush DWAARP + Necro; funnel with reinforcements before the double bend.
- Temple of Saqra: Boss phases are add-heavy—save Rain of Fire for statue spawns, not the boss itself.
Farming & Endless
For stars/cash grinding, community-favored loops remain Bonehart unlock paths and mid-campaign maps with short waves (try Snapvine Bridge). Endless: lean on Wrath of the Forest + Furnace Blast to force perma-clumps.
Common Mistakes
- Over-investing in early barracks instead of poison/CC.
- Skipping Furnace Blast—it’s your best scaling control.
- Not repositioning rally flags; move them between waves to pre-soak assassins and conserve lives.
